PLANTING DAY COMPLETES RESTORATION PROJECT

Saturday 20 June, 2026 marked our second planting day, and once again there was a great turn out of support from the community.

Around 10-15 people came down to help us plant at various times of the day, and numerous other community members came down to lend us support, bring snacks and to provide positive feedback for the project.

The work focussed on planting indigenous plants on the banks of the stream, which will help turn transform the pond-like area we have created in the middle to a refuge for birds, fish, tadpoles and other creatures, as well as a beautiful feature in the park for all to enjoy.
